With a date for the Federal Election being announced, the Regional Economic Development Corporation (REDC) has compiled an election “wish list” to be distributed to all candidates.

Released today, the Regional Priorities document lists 13 regional priorities.

The top five priorities for the region includes:

1. Early rollout of the National Broadband Network across our region
2. Mackay Ring Road
3. Sealing of the Alpha to Clermont road
4. Airlie Beach main street upgrade
5. Local Government infrastructure to accommodate a growing population
